We work with local businesses to provide valuable backpacks, lunch boxes and water bottles to local schools.

Providing Needed Supplies To Local Schools

Each year, our club works with businesses to donate school supplies to local primary and high schools. This helps ensure students have everything they need to keep them organised, in-attendance and effectively pursuing their education every day at school. It also encourages them to bring a nutritious lunch and adequate water to school each day.

This year, we have so far donated 85 backpacks to Morisset High School, Bonnells Bay Public School, Morisset Public School, Wyee Public School & Wangi Wangi Public School.

These backpacks had a lunch box and a drink bottle in each bag. The bags were given to us by Officeworks. 120 drink bottles were donated by Hunter Water and the Newcastle Permanent Building Society.

We also donated drink bottles to Dora Creek Public School. In total this represents more than $1000 retail value in donations. Thank you so much to these community-minded businesses for their generosity. A big thank you as well to our lovely club members for your work in organising and distributing the supplies!
