Our writing competition for primary school students aims to kindle young imaginations, encourage creative expression, and develop writing skills.
Story Writing for Young Minds
Our Club initiated the Primary Schools Writing Competition in 2024 to encourage children’s writing skills and to capture their imagination, their expression, and their writing dexterity. It was envisaged that students would work on their stories as independently as possible. Based on the success of last years writing competition, we are now extending it to our senior students up to year 10.
This idea has been generated from Rotary International where one of the seven Areas of Focus is, “Basic Education and Literacy”. Literacy per se has been, and still is, greatly promoted and embraced by all Rotarians worldwide.
