Mission and Purpose
We provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
Vision Statement
Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

What We Do
We do a lot more than just cook sausages! We . . .

Promote Peace
Through our service projects, peace fellowships and scholarships, our members are taking action to address the underlying causes of conflict, including poverty, inequality, ethnic tension, lack of access to education, and unequal distribution of resources. Locally, we raise awareness and funds to prevent domestic violence and support its victims in very practical ways.

Fight Disease
Disease results in misery, pain and poverty for millions of people worldwide. Our projects include temporary clinics, blood donation centres, and training facilities in underserved communities struggling with outbreaks and health-care access. We design and build infrastructure that allows doctors, patients and governments to work together. We combat diseases such as malaria, HIV/AIDS, Alzheimer's, multiple sclerosis, diabetes and polio.

Provide Clean Water, Sanitation & Hygiene
When people have access to clean water and sanitation, diseases decrease, children stay healthier and attend school more regularly, and mothers can spend less time carrying water and more time helping their families. Rotary's People Of Action mobilise resources. Locally, we have completed toilet blocks for girls in Morogorro, Tanzania.

Save Mothers and Children
Rotary makes high-quality health care available to vulnerable mothers and children so they can live longer and grow stronger. Rotary provides education, immunisations, birth kits, and mobile health clinics. Women are taught how to prevent mother-to-infant HIV transmission, how to breastfeed, and how to protect themselves and their children from disease. We support a paediatrics ward in Morogorra, Tanzania.

Grow Local Economies
Globally, nearly 800 million people live on less than $1.90 a day. Rotary members are passionate about providing sustainable solutions to poverty. Locally we work to strengthen local entrepreneurs and community leaders. We provide training and access to well-paying jobs and financial management institutions.

Support Education
More than 775 million people over the age of 15 are illiterate. That's 17% of the world's adult population. Our goal is to strengthen communities and empower educators to inspire learning at all ages. Locally, we work closely with feeder schools in the Western Shores Alliance. We support and promote many secondary programs with Morisset High School.

Supporting The Environment
Our club supports environmental sustainability and conservation through various projects, including our soft plastics recycling program, milk bottle top collection, and our weed-clearing and habitat-building initiatives at Aussie Ark.
