Morisset Rotary

Several of our club and partners have just returned for 12 days in Cambodia, Siem Reap and the surrounding areas. We were lucky enough to join fellow Rotarians from RC East Maitland on their SIMS Cambodia RAWCS project. During our time there, we built houses, conducted health checks for babies and women, provided dental education, and organised singing and sports activities for kids. In our spare time, we visited some NGO’s doing incredible community development works and saw the work of the Hero Rats in detecting land mines. We laughed a lot over a few beers in the swim-up pool and generally, really came to appreciate the value of Rotary on the global stage and in our own lives.
